Our Genesis

President & Founder

Throughout my 21-year journey in the IT industry, I’ve been privileged to work in varied and dynamic environments that have sharpened my leadership, managerial, and technical skills. My educational foundation, crowned with an ITIL 4 Certification and a Computer Information Systems degree from NYC Technical College, alongside Cisco and CompTia certifications, have been the bedrock upon which I’ve built my professional career.
My tenure at FDNY stands as one of my proudest chapters. As the Director of Networking and Datacenter Services, I took the helm of a transformative project, redefining the FDNY enterprise network. We achieved key milestones like a 48% reduction in latency and a notable boost in system performance. Beyond the technical triumphs, I’m particularly proud of the fiscal strategies we employed, saving the agency millions and cultivating a culture of innovation and efficiency.
Earlier in my FDNY journey, I served as the Network Services/Security Operations Manager. Here, I led a stellar team in the rollout of essential network security tools such as McAfee MVision and Infoblox. A personal highlight was overseeing the design and establishment of a secure disaster recovery site, ensuring the uninterrupted operations of FDNY in critical scenarios.
Before these rewarding years at FDNY, I had the opportunity to contribute to NYC OTI as a Telecommunications Associate. My focus on Wireless and Mission Critical services allowed me to be at the forefront of transitioning to the new Citywide Wireless Network. Ensuring vendors adhered to our high standards and being involved in the strategic facets of this project were experiences that honed my skills further.
Looking back, I am grateful for the myriad of experiences and challenges that have shaped my career. As the President of WhittyIT LLC, I am committed to driving our company forward, leveraging my experiences to lead with integrity, expertise, and vision
